Bear, Bear from emerald depths
not running—lumbering and as
hot as night is cool, summer-
drunk on the devouring green,
on milk, meat and honey, and
sticking with the surrounding
wetness—less like rain; more
wind’s kiss, adore forever all
what frolics—you, Bear, big
brown Bear, is licking lips and
nose, is going now; Bear, bear
bum, bye-bye Bear, bye-bye.

Thanks for checking out my poem.

Did I tell you I wrote a novel? You can read it here for free, or get it for your e-reader on iBooks, Amazon or Kobo. Or you can just say you read the book, and donate five bucks down below. Go on.
