Our Darkness

  do we see
 eye to eye?
or  do  we  see
as   unlike   objects
you are ceaseless fire,
and I am the flash before
the    arc—
      I see you dimly,
but in the white flesh of
   roiling fog,
     light  blinds
 our darkness together
  speaks only what is
         common for us both—
you are
          what is always unfolding
and I am the dry leaves scattering
in your storm—
   I am
     not lost—
    I am wandering within you.

Thanks for checking out my poem.

Did I tell you I wrote a novel? You can read it here for free, or get it for your e-reader on iBooks, Amazon or Kobo. Or you can just say you read the book, and donate five bucks down below. Go on.
