Inbetween

my flightless trial concludes,
anD i abhoR silences so…
don’t bE sad…i Am not
eaten or alone—i survived
it, i aM with My mother
in the lEaves, i
chirp no more,
i sing,
i am released From
the sadness of smallness,
more than that—
I gRew feathers and flEw
I N B E T W E E N
—i am no longer numb—
i seE infinity.

Thanks for checking out my poem.

Did I tell you I wrote a novel? You can read it here for free, or get it for your e-reader on iBooks, Amazon or Kobo. Or you can just say you read the book, and donate five bucks down below. Go on.
