This One Star

music salts eternity,
repeating line for line
what dance there was

a day in winter
slows,
light wilting sail’s advance

we slow too,
lest angels mistake all the cosmos
for this one star

and in one white crash
we surrender flesh itself,
twirl as ghosts through time

Thanks for checking out my poem.

Did I tell you I wrote a novel? You can read it here for free, or get it for your e-reader on iBooks, Amazon or Kobo. Or you can just say you read the book, and donate five bucks down below. Go on.
