Happy Woman

Happy woman, come kiss me—
what powerful aura, and
smiling lips—happy, lovely woman,
please kiss my brow, please say,
“We are sinking here, but you are not
the captain,” make me smile like you—
please wait a while, I’ll be ready soon.

White owl don’t sit alone—please
fly where I ought to be, tell them
I’m coming soon, that I’m okay—
don’t watch for me, and don’t waste
your time finding what it was I lost—
fly to the chapel where love belongs,
and wait a while, I’ll be ready soon.

Thanks for checking out my poem.

Did I tell you I wrote a novel? You can read it here for free, or get it for your e-reader on iBooks, Amazon or Kobo. Or you can just say you read the book, and donate five bucks down below. Go on.
