Funny Animals (Pace)

funny animals pace
set themselves straight
with apologies
and in their heads avoid
collisions by barking

now coarse, now sweet
and frail funny animals must
wait at times for care
for attention

love is constant above all
funny animals often recognise
wrong or see things in multiples—
“every day
             I die!”
                      or again,
             t”he one I love
    exists in memories
                      like fractals

smiles cheapen things for
     funny animals—they want
truth in concentrated form

who is bold but the funny animal?
             omens have
               lucky end          ings.

Thanks for checking out my poem.

Did I tell you I wrote a novel? You can read it here for free, or get it for your e-reader on iBooks, Amazon or Kobo. Or you can just say you read the book, and donate five bucks down below. Go on.
