Two Fishes

Entity—a broad, cool wind that sweeps
from the shoulders of the earth, and
passes like an enemy whose eye one misses.
Silent dread—or calmness like hostility,
“…but we are safe here, in the
middle of our street, what frowns can
smile. I sense…
I sense…the beginning of something,
no!—two things overlapping! We are here
witnessing it roll over our heads; and who
sent it, or them?” Two things, two
absolutes, like two great fishes swimming through
potentiality, “And we saw them touch,
just briefly like that, that wind was…
now where are we?”

Thanks for checking out my poem.

Did I tell you I wrote a novel? You can read it here for free, or get it for your e-reader on iBooks, Amazon or Kobo. Or you can just say you read the book, and donate five bucks down below. Go on.
